Role Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented ERP Functional Consultant (Finance) to join our team. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial processes, design and configure ERPNext solutions, and ensure successful end‑to‑end implementations that meet IFRS and local statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct business process workshops to gather and analyze financial requirements (GL, AR, AP, Assets, Costing).
- Translate requirements into ERPNext functional specifications and system configurations.
- Configure Chart of Accounts, fiscal years, multi‑currency, tax rules, and financial workflows.
- Design and test custom reports, dashboards, and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
- Provide training, documentation, and post‑go‑live support to finance teams.
- Collaborate with developers to scope and validate customizations or integrations.
- Ensure data migration accuracy from legacy systems into ERPNext.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of hands‑on experience as an ERP functional consultant, with a strong focus on financial modules.
- Proven track record implementing at least one ERP system (ERPNext preferred).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, IFRS, and local UAE VAT regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with clients and cross‑functional teams.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- Prior implementation experience with SAP FICO, Oracle Financials, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
- Exposure to multi‑entity consolidations and intercompany reconciliations.
- Familiarity with ERPNext Frappe framework customizations (server scripts, client scripts, custom reports).
- Knowledge of integration tools (REST APIs, data import/export).
